What this recall means for you
Some 2026 Ram 1500 trucks have headlight wiring that may cause the parking lights and daytime running lights to flicker on and off, or to stop working. Lights that do not illuminate properly make your vehicle harder for other drivers to see, which increases the risk of a crash.
An authorized dealer will inspect the headlight assemblies and replace them if needed, at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed September 17, 2026. If you have questions, you can contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403 and reference recall number 62D.
You can check whether your vehicle is affected by entering your VIN on NHTSA.gov once VINs become searchable beginning July 9, 2026. Even if you do not see a problem with your lights, it is worth checking your VIN for open recalls.
