Kawasaki W230 Recall 26V387: Turn Signal Bulbs May Fail, Raising Crash Risk

NHTSA campaign 26V387, reported June 12, 2026, 840 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2025-2026 Kawasaki W230 motorcycles may have turn signal light bulbs that contain foreign material or have cracks. As a result, a front or rear turn signal bulb can fail and not light up to show the direction you are turning or changing lanes.

A turn signal that does not illuminate makes it harder for other drivers to see your intentions, which increases the risk of a crash. If you own an affected W230, contact an authorized Kawasaki dealer, who will replace all turn signal lights free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 7, 2026. You can also contact Kawasaki customer service at (855) 878-4217, referencing recall MC26-08, and check your VIN for any open recalls.
