What this recall means for you
The instrument panel's taillight warning light may turn on even when the taillights are working correctly. Because the light can be wrong, it may fail to alert the driver to important safety information or cause confusion, which increases the risk of a crash. The vehicles also do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 101 for controls and displays.
If you own an affected vehicle, dealers will replace the taillight harness free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 18, 2026. You can contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267 with questions about this recall, which Jayco lists as recall number 9903656.
We recommend checking your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls and scheduling the free repair with an authorized dealer.
