Ember Touring Edition Recall 26V339: Loose Shock Bolts Can Break and Fall Off on the Road

NHTSA campaign 26V339, reported May 27, 2026, 143 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some trailers of this model year range have shock absorber bolts that may have been tightened incorrectly during assembly. Over time, the shock retainer bolt heads and washers can break, and the pieces may detach while the trailer is in use.

If these parts come loose on the road, they can become a hazard to other drivers and increase the risk of a crash. Owners should take this recall seriously and have the trailer checked promptly.

The repair is free. Authorized dealers will replace the shock bolts at no cost. Owners were mailed notification letters on June 2, 2026, and can contact Ember customer service at 1-844-732-4204 with questions. You can also check your trailer's VIN for any open recalls.
