What this recall means for you
Certain aerial device units may have incorrect control wiring that prevents the ground level emergency stop (E-stop) from immediately halting hydraulic functions when the machine is in ePTO mode. If the E-stop is pressed and the boom or other hydraulic movements keep going, the risk of injury to people working on or near the equipment increases.
Altec will inspect affected units and test the E-stop function to confirm it works. If the wiring is found to be incorrect, it will be updated free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 12, 2026. For questions, contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832 and refer to recall number CSN-3322. You can also check your vehicle's VIN for open recalls.
