RAM Promaster Recall 26V280: Rear Bench Seat May Be Missing Legs, Risking Injury in a Crash

NHTSA campaign 26V280, reported May 1, 2026, 14 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some 2026 Ram ProMaster vehicles may have a middle or rear bench seat installed with only two of its four seat legs. The seat may therefore not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 207 for seating systems. The incomplete seat may not properly restrain an occupant, which increases the risk of injury during a crash.

An authorized dealer will install two additional seat legs at no cost to you. If you have questions, you can contact Braun Corporation customer service at 1-800-488-0359. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
