Storyteller Overland Classic Recall 26V274: Improperly routed coolant lines can overheat engine

NHTSA campaign 26V274, reported April 29, 2026, 357 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2023 Storyteller Overland vehicles equipped with all-wheel drive may have coolant lines that are routed improperly. This can cause the engine to overheat, which may lead to a loss of drive power.

A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash, particularly if it happens unexpectedly while driving. Owners should be alert to signs of overheating and treat any loss of power seriously.

Dealers will remove the secondary heat exchanger loop at no cost to the owner. Owner notification letters were mailed June 24, 2026. If you have questions, contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
