Entegra Condor Recall 26V267: Hot Water Can Scald: Missing Mixing Valve in RV Heater

NHTSA campaign 26V267, reported April 28, 2026, 35 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The electric water heater in certain motorhomes may be missing its tempering mixing valve. Without this part, water from the heater can reach scalding temperatures, raising the risk of burn injuries.

Until the repair is done, the manufacturer advises owners to turn on the cold water first when running water, so the hot water is diluted. The repair is free: an authorized dealer will install the missing valve at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed May 1, 2026. Contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267 with questions.

To see whether your vehicle is involved, check your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on NHTSA.gov, where VINs for this recall will be searchable beginning May 28, 2026.
