What this recall means for you
The high voltage disconnect switch in certain IC Bus EVSB electric school buses may fail to shut off power to the traction battery. A technician or owner who believes the battery is de-energized could end up working on a high voltage battery that is still live.
This creates a risk of serious electric shock, which can result in injury or death. Owners should not attempt to service the high voltage battery or disconnect switch themselves.
Authorized IC Bus dealers will repair the high voltage disconnect connector bypass circuit free of charge.
