- Component
- CHILD SEAT:VEHICLE TETHER ANCHOR
- Problem
- Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2026 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 225, "Child Restraint Anchorage Systems."
- Risk
- A child that is not properly restrained during a crash can have an increased risk of injury.
- Remedy
- Dealers will replace the second-row, right-side seat frame, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 29, 2026. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 27D. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning April 16, 2026.
