NHTSA campaign 26V215, reported April 3, 2026, 189 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A winter front cover fitted to certain Autocar Xpeditor trucks may interfere with the forward collision warning system. If the system is blocked or affected, it may fail to warn the driver of a possible collision, which increases the risk of a crash.

Autocar will replace the winter front cover free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 29, 2026. If you have questions, you can contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls to confirm whether your truck is affected.

Until the replacement is done, consider removing the winter front cover if conditions allow and keep an eye on the road ahead, since the warning system may not alert you as expected.
