Chevrolet Corvette Recall 26V213: Rear turn signal failure may go unnoticed

NHTSA campaign 26V213, reported April 2, 2026, 32,988 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A software error in the lighting control module can prevent the vehicle from detecting when a rear turn signal light has failed. As a result, the driver may not know the turn signal is not working, and these vehicles do not meet federal lighting requirements (FMVSS 108).

A non-working turn signal can leave other drivers unaware of your intended turns or lane changes, which increases the risk of a crash.

The lighting control module software will be updated free of charge, either by a dealer or through an over-the-air update. Owner notification letters are scheduled to be mailed May 18, 2026. You can contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, and you can check your VIN for open recalls on NHTSA.gov.
