Lucid Gravity Recall 26V192: Rear seat belt brackets may fail, raising crash injury risk

NHTSA campaign 26V192, reported March 26, 2026, 4,476 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain Lucid Gravity vehicles from model years 2025 and 2026 have second-row seats whose lap belt anchor brackets may have insufficient welds. The weak welds can cause the bracket to fail, and the affected vehicles do not meet federal safety standards for seating systems and seat belt anchorages.

If a bracket fails in a crash, the risk of injury to second-row occupants increases. Owners should not wait for the repair to be done, and should check whether their vehicle is included in this recall.

Lucid will inspect the seats and repair or replace them as needed, at no cost to the owner. Owner notification letters were mailed May 18, 2026. You can contact Lucid at 1-888-995-8243 and reference recall number SR-26-04-00. You can also check your VIN for open recalls at NHTSA.gov.
