Chrysler Pacifica Recall 26V189: Side curtain airbags may not hold pressure in a crash

NHTSA campaign 26V189, reported March 26, 2026, 293,264 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager minivans from model years 2022 through 2026 may have side curtain airbags, on both the left and right sides, that do not retain enough pressure. The vehicles therefore do not meet federal Ejection Mitigation safety requirements.

If the curtain airbags lose pressure, the risk of being ejected from the vehicle or suffering injury during a crash increases. Owners should take this recall seriously.

Dealers will replace the side curtain airbags, as necessary, at no charge. Owners who received a letter mailed May 14, 2026 can contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Vehicles repaired under earlier recalls 25V302 and 25V573 will also need the new remedy. Check your VIN for open recalls on NHTSA.gov, where affected VINs will be searchable beginning April 2, 2026.
