What this recall means for you
The Cargo Carrying Capacity label on certain Tiffin motorhomes lists an incorrect number of seat belt equipped seating positions. Because of this error, passengers may not be properly buckled in, and the vehicles also do not fully meet the federal tire and rim selection requirements referenced in the notice.
If an unbelted passenger is involved in a crash, they may not be properly restrained, which increases the risk of injury. Owners should not rely on the label alone to determine how many seat belts are available and should make sure every passenger uses a seat belt while the vehicle is in motion.
