What this recall means for you

An installation error may prevent the wheelchair tie-downs on certain buses from locking. As a result, a wheelchair may not be properly secured.

An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit or in a crash, which increases the risk of injury to the wheelchair user and others on board. Owners should contact Micro Bird USA LLC's Customer Service at 819-477-2012 with questions about this recall.

An authorized dealer will inspect the wheelchair tie-down anchors and secure the anchor screw cap as needed, at no cost to the owner. Owners who have not yet received the notification letter mailed April 30, 2026 should check their vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
