Nissan Sentra Recall 26V145: Front seats may come loose in a crash

NHTSA campaign 26V145, reported March 13, 2026, 15 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some front seats in these vehicles may have a hook bracket that was not welded strongly enough, so the seat frame can become loose. The seats also do not meet federal safety standards for seating systems and seat belt anchorages.

A loose seat may not hold the occupant in the position the vehicle was designed for, which raises the risk of injury in a crash.

The repair is free. Authorized Nissan dealers will replace the front seat assemblies at no cost. Owners who received a notification letter mailed May 18, 2026 can contact Nissan customer service at 800-647-7261 (recall PMA64). You can also check your VIN for open recalls on NHTSA.gov.
