ATC PL700 Recall 26V140: Generator exhaust can leak carbon monoxide into trailer cabin

NHTSA campaign 26V140, reported March 11, 2026, 182 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The generator on certain ATC PL700 and PL750 recreational trailers vents its exhaust directly under the slide-out bedroom. This allows carbon monoxide, a colorless and odorless gas, to enter the living space.

Carbon monoxide exposure inside the cabin raises the risk of serious injury or death from carbon monoxide poisoning. Owners should be especially careful when running the generator while anyone is inside or sleeping in the trailer.

Authorized dealers will reroute the generator exhaust and install an additional carbon monoxide detector at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed March 24, 2026. To confirm whether your trailer is affected, check your VIN for open recalls, or call ATC customer service at 1-877-441-2440.
