Mack Terrapro (Te) Recall 26V139: Truck May Start While in Gear, Risking Sudden Movement

NHTSA campaign 26V139, reported March 11, 2026, 775 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Starting the vehicle while it is in gear can cause unexpected movement, which raises the risk of a crash or injury. Owners should take this seriously and arrange a repair promptly.

The repair is a software update performed free of charge by an authorized Mack dealer. Owners were mailed notification letters on April 14, 2026, and can contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177 (recall number SC0492).
