Rossmonster Baja Recall 26V100: Brake Line May Rub Tire and Leak Fluid, Reducing Braking

NHTSA campaign 26V100, reported February 20, 2026, 39 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some front brake lines on certain Baja motorhomes equipped with extended stainless steel brake lines may have been routed incorrectly. In that case, a line can contact the front tire, which may damage the line and cause a brake fluid leak.

A brake fluid leak can reduce braking performance and raise the risk of a crash. Owners should take this recall seriously and have their vehicle checked.

The repair is free. An authorized dealer will inspect the brake lines and reroute them if needed. Owner notification letters were mailed March 13, 2026. For questions, contact Rossmonster customer service at 1-720-295-0623, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
