Jaguar I-Pace Recall 26V067: Jaguar I-Pace Battery May Overheat and Cause Fire

NHTSA campaign 26V067, reported February 5, 2026, 2,278 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2020 and 2021 Jaguar I-PACE vehicles have a high voltage battery that may overheat. An overheating battery increases the risk of a fire.

Until the repair is complete, owners should park outside and away from structures, charge the vehicle outside, and limit the charge to a maximum of 90%. As an interim fix, a dealer or an over-the-air software update will limit the battery's state of charge to 90%. The final remedy is still under development, and Jaguar will send additional letters once it is available. Interim notification letters were mailed April 2, 2026.

All repairs are free of charge. Owners can call Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827, using recall numbers H570, H571, or H572. This recall replaces earlier NHTSA recalls 23V369, 23V709, and 24V085, and vehicles repaired under those recalls will still need the new remedy. Check your VIN for open recalls.
