Winnebago Access Recall 26V052: Missing Weight Label Could Lead to Overloading and Crash Risk

NHTSA campaign 26V052, reported January 29, 2026, 100 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain travel trailers have a certification label that may not list the Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). Without this information, an owner may not know how much weight the axles can safely carry, so the trailer could be unintentionally overloaded. An overloaded trailer raises the risk of a crash.

The remedy is free. An authorized dealer or the owner can replace the certification label at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed March 13, 2026. If you have questions, contact Winnebago customer service at 1-574-825-5280 Ext. 5220 and reference recall number 44448204.

You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls on the NHTSA website to confirm whether your trailer is affected and whether any other recall repairs are pending.
