NHTSA campaign 26V025, reported January 21, 2026, 231 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The vehicle may also be shifted out of park without the brake pedal applied, which raises the risk of a rollaway and crash.

The brake light switch will be replaced free of charge by an authorized dealer. Owner notification letters were mailed January 30, 2026. If you have questions, you can contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 and reference recall number 26C01.
