Lucid Gravity Recall 26V018: Rearview Camera May Not Display in Reverse

NHTSA campaign 26V018, reported January 16, 2026, 3,900 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2025 and 2026 Lucid Gravity vehicles running software older than version 3.3.20 may fail to show the rearview camera image when the vehicle is put in reverse. The vehicles therefore do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 111 for rear visibility.

If the rearview image does not appear, the driver's view of the area behind the vehicle is reduced, which increases the risk of a crash, especially when backing up near people, animals, or objects.

The remedy is a free over-the-air software update that Lucid has released. Owners were notified by mail on March 4, 2026. You can contact Lucid at 1-888-995-8243, and you can check your VIN for open recalls at an authorized dealer or through NHTSA.
