- Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2026 Freedom Aire motorhomes equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank Pad. The water tank heating pad may experience high resistance and fail.
- Risk
- A heating pad failure can increase the risk of a fire.
- Remedy
- Dealers will install a new water tank heating pad, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 6, 2026. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300. Newmar's number for this recall is 622 RSB.

A water tank heating pad in this motorhome, used to keep the freshwater tank from freezing, may develop high electrical resistance and fail. A failing heating pad can increase the risk of a fire.
If you own this vehicle, contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300 or take it to an authorized dealer. Dealers will install a new water tank heating pad free of charge.
