NHTSA campaign 25V891, reported December 18, 2025, 1,337 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A sudden rear wheel lockup increases the risk of a crash and injury. Oil leaking onto hot exhaust components also increases the risk of a fire.

Dealers will replace the engine assembly free of charge. Owners who have not yet received a notice can contact Honda customer service at 1-866-784-1870, and can check whether their VIN is involved in the recall on NHTSA.gov.
