NHTSA campaign 25V850, reported December 9, 2025, 2 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

On certain transit buses, the retractor on the wheelchair restraint may fail to lock. If the retractor does not lock, the wheelchair may not be properly secured during the trip.

An unsecured wheelchair can move while the bus is in transit, which increases the risk of injury to the wheelchair user and to other passengers.

Owners should contact DTNA customer service at 1-800-547-0712 or take the vehicle to an authorized dealer. A dealer will inspect the wheelchair restraint retractor and replace it if necessary, at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed February 5, 2026. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
