- Problem
- Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2025 Melbourne, 2026 Melbourne Prestige, and Entegra Qwest recreational vehicles. The Certification and Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity (OCCC) labels may list the incorrect Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR), and Gross Combination Weight Rating (GCWR). As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, âWheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Carsâ and 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
- Risk
- Incorrect weight information may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

- Jayco will mail corrected labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 16, 2025. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903644.
What this recall means for you
Certain 2025 and 2026 Jayco Melbourne, Melbourne Prestige, and Entegra Qwest recreational vehicles may have Certification and Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity labels that list incorrect Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, Gross Axle Weight Rating, and Gross Combination Weight Rating figures. These vehicles therefore do not fully comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 120 and the federal certification requirements.
Because the labels show the wrong weight limits, an owner could unknowingly load the vehicle beyond its safe capacity. An overloaded recreational vehicle is more likely to be involved in a crash.
Jayco will mail corrected labels free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 16, 2025. To get your replacement labels or ask questions, contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267 and reference recall number 9903644. You can also check your vehicle identification number for open recalls.
