RAM 1500 Recall 25V826: Blank instrument display may hide warning lights and gear

NHTSA campaign 25V826, reported December 1, 2025, 72,509 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A software error can cause the instrument panel cluster display to go blank. When this happens, important information such as warning lights and the selected gear may not be visible to the driver.

A display that does not show critical information increases the risk of a crash, because the driver may not notice a warning or confirm which gear the vehicle is in.

Owners can take this recall to an authorized dealer, where the instrument panel software will be updated or the instrument panel cluster replaced if needed, at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed December 18, 2025. You can also contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls on NHTSA.gov.
