Newell P50 Recall 25V812: Seats May Detach From Floor, Raising Crash Injury Risk

NHTSA campaign 25V812, reported November 24, 2025, 3 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some 2022 Newell P50 coaches may have a pedestal seat mounting plate that was improperly welded. Over time the plate can separate, causing the seat assembly to loosen or detach from the floor. The seats in these vehicles also do not meet federal safety standards for seating systems and seat belt anchorages.

A loose or detached seat may not hold the occupant in place as designed, which increases the risk of injury during a crash. Owners should take this recall seriously and check whether their vehicle is affected.

Newell will inspect the seat for a missing weld and replace the pedestal seat if needed, at no cost to the owner. Owner notification letters were mailed December 2, 2025. You can contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355, and you can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
