- Problem
- International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2023-2027 IC Bus CESB school buses. While carrying the maximum number of occupants, the bus may exceed Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) when the fuel tank and fluid reservoirs are full.
- Risk
- An incorrect GVWR may lead to unintentionally overloading the bus, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will inspect and repair suspension as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 27, 2026. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25523.

Certain 2023-2027 IC Bus CESB school buses may exceed their Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) when fully loaded with passengers and with the fuel tank and fluid reservoirs full. The bus's weight limit label may be incorrect, which can lead to unintentionally overloading the bus.
