NHTSA campaign 25V773, reported November 10, 2025, 5 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The driver's seat belt on certain transit buses may be pinched by the partition, which can keep the belt from retracting properly. As a result, these buses do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 209 for seat belt assemblies.

A loose seat belt may not adequately restrain the driver during a crash, which increases the risk of injury.

The manufacturer will adjust the seat base plate at no cost to owners. Owners who have questions can contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-450-472-6410, and vehicles involved in the recall will be searchable by VIN on NHTSA.gov.
