- Problem
- Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Granite trucks equipped with LED headlights. The LED headlights may fail.
- Risk
- Loss of headlight illumination can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will replace the LED headlights, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed July 23, 2026. Owners may contact Mack's customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0485. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning November 10, 2025.
What this recall means for you
Certain 2024-2025 Mack Granite trucks equipped with LED headlights may experience headlight failure. When a headlight stops illuminating, the driver's view of the road and the truck's visibility to other drivers can be reduced, which increases the risk of a crash.
If you own an affected Mack Granite, dealers will replace the LED headlights free of charge. Owner letters were mailed July 23, 2026. You can also contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177 (Mack recall number SC0485) with questions.
