Mcneilus Metro PAK Rear Loader Recall 25V755: Missing Reflectors and Lights Can Make Truck Hard to See

NHTSA campaign 25V755, reported November 3, 2025, 70 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2021-2025 Metro Pak rear loader trucks may be missing their side and rear reflex reflectors and rear clearance lights. These parts are required by federal lighting standards, and their absence means the truck does not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108.

Without these reflectors and clearance lights, other drivers may have a harder time seeing the truck, especially at night or in poor visibility. Reduced visibility increases the risk of a crash.

The repair is free. McNeilus will install the missing side reflectors and lights at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed December 9, 2025. You can contact McNeilus Customer Service at 1-888-686-7278, and you should also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
