NHTSA campaign 25V752, reported October 31, 2025, 64 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain transit buses with QRT-Deluxe or QRT-Max wheelchair restraints may have retractors that do not lock. As a result, a wheelchair may not be properly secured.

An unlocked wheelchair can move during transit or during a crash, which increases the risk of injury to the wheelchair user and others on board. Owners of affected 2024-2026 G5 and 2025 T-Series transit buses should contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012 and check their VIN for open recalls.

Authorized dealers will inspect and repair the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 8, 2025. Micro Bird's recall number is 25-117-QUC.
