Mazda CX-50 Recall 25V737: Loose Front Suspension Bolts Can Cause Wheel Detachment

NHTSA campaign 25V737, reported October 29, 2025, 1,007 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some front suspension fastener bolts may not have been tightened properly at the factory. Over time, this can allow a suspension component or wheel to come loose or detach from the vehicle.

If a wheel or suspension part detaches, the driver can lose control of the vehicle and lose drive power, which raises the risk of a crash.

Dealers will inspect the front suspension fastener bolts and, if needed, replace and properly tighten them at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed December 10, 2025. You can contact Mazda customer service at 1-800-222-5500, Option 6, and check your VIN for open recalls on NHTSA.gov.
