Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 Recall 25V725: Weak Frame Under Third-Row Seats May Fail in a Crash

NHTSA campaign 25V725, reported October 24, 2025, 366 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The right longitudinal frame member in certain vehicles may not be reinforced properly. This reduces the structural strength of the third-row seats.

If the third-row seats lack adequate strength, they may not protect occupants as intended in a crash, increasing the risk of injury to passengers sitting in those seats.

Dealers will inspect and repair the frame as necessary, at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed December 17, 2025. You can contact Daimler Vans USA customer service at 1-877-762-8267 and use recall number VS3RASCHW. You can also check whether your VIN is included in this recall on NHTSA.gov, where VINs will be searchable beginning October 31, 2025.
