NHTSA campaign 25V684, reported October 10, 2025, 4 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The emergency valve installed on certain 2026 tank trailers with split rear impact guards is the wrong part. In a crash, the valve may be damaged and leak, allowing hazardous liquids to escape.

Hazardous liquid leaking onto people near the tank increases the risk of injury. If you own or operate an affected trailer, stop using it for hauling until the valve is checked or replaced.

Brenner Tank, LLC will replace the emergency valve free of charge. Contact Brenner Tank customer service at 1-800-558-8265 to arrange the repair, and check your VIN for any open recalls.
