Alfa Romeo Stelvio Recall 25V667: Rearview Camera May Not Display Properly, Raising Crash Risk

NHTSA campaign 25V667, reported October 7, 2025, 62,910 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The rearview camera on certain Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio vehicles may have defects in its printed circuit board and software. As a result, the rear camera image may not display properly, which reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle. These vehicles also fail to meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 111, "Rear Visibility."

A rearview image that does not display correctly reduces what you can see behind your vehicle, which increases the risk of a crash, particularly when backing up. Owners should be cautious when reversing and use mirrors and visual checks until the issue is repaired.

Dealers will inspect and replace the radio as necessary and update the rearview camera software as necessary, all free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 25, 2025. For questions, contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403 (recall number A2C), and check your VIN for open recalls on NHTSA.gov, where involved VINs become searchable on October 14, 2025.
