- Problem
- Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Luminate and Indigo recreational vehicles. The LP tank support tube may be too short and have an insufficient weld that may fracture, allowing the tank to detach.
- Risk
- A detached tank can create a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will install support brackets on both sides of the LP tank support tubes, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 30, 2025. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000331.
What this recall means for you
The support tube holding the LP (propane) tank may be too short, and its weld may be insufficient. Over time the weld can fracture, allowing the tank to come loose from the vehicle while it is in use.
A detached tank can land on the road and create a hazard for other drivers, which increases the risk of a crash.
Authorized Thor Motor Coach dealers will install support brackets on both sides of the LP tank support tubes at no charge. Owners were mailed notification letters on October 30, 2025.
