What this recall means for you
The power-assisted service door on these buses may have rod-eye rings that delaminate, or separate in layers, at the point where the front and rear door panels attach to the opening gear. When this happens, the driver may lose the ability to control the door, which can stay open or open unexpectedly.
An unexpectedly open or stuck service door increases the risk that passengers could be injured, including by falling out of the bus.
Dealers will inspect the service door mechanism for signs of rod-eye ring delamination and repair it as needed at no cost to owners. Owner notification letters were mailed November 7, 2025. You can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012 and reference recall number 25-116-RUS. Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
