Certain Sportster S motorcycles may have an upper triple clamp that can fracture while the bike is being ridden. The upper triple clamp is part of the steering assembly, so a fracture could cause the rider to lose control and raises the risk of a crash.
If you own an affected model year, a dealer will replace the upper triple clamp at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed October 1, 2025. If you have questions, you can contact Harley-Davidson customer service at 1-800-258-2464 and reference recall number 0190.
