Chrysler Pacifica Recall 25V573: Curtain airbags may not stay inflated in a crash

NHTSA campaign 25V573, reported September 4, 2025, 985 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some 2025 Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager vehicles may have side curtain airbags with improperly sealed seams. These seams can let the airbags lose pressure too quickly, so the airbags may not hold up as they should in a crash. The vehicles also fail to meet federal ejection mitigation safety requirements.

An airbag that does not retain enough pressure raises the risk of an occupant being ejected from the vehicle during a crash, which can cause serious injury. Owners should take this recall seriously.

The repair is free. Dealers will replace the side curtain airbags as necessary at no charge. Owners who received the notification letter mailed October 14, 2025, can contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Affected VINs will be searchable on NHTSA.gov starting September 11, 2025, and you can check your VIN for open recalls there. This recall is replaced by NHTSA recall number 26V189, and vehicles already repaired under the earlier campaign will need the new remedy completed.
