Chevrolet Corvette Recall 25V536: Fuel May Leak Onto Hot Parts and Cause a Fire

NHTSA campaign 25V536, reported August 21, 2025, 23,656 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2023-2026 Chevrolet Corvette vehicles have a left-side radiator and fan combination that can allow excess fuel to spill into the fuel-filler pocket during refueling. The spilled fuel can then leak onto an ignition source, such as a hot engine or exhaust component.

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire. If you own an affected Corvette, check your VIN for open recalls and contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 (GM recall number N252514930). Owner notification letters were mailed November 14, 2025.

Authorized dealers will install a shield to divert spilled fuel. The repair is free of charge.
