Jayco Travel Trailer JAY Flight SLX Recall 25V528: Furnace Vent May Be Missing, Letting Carbon Monoxide Inside

NHTSA campaign 25V528, reported August 14, 2025, 173 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The furnace exhaust vent on certain trailers may be missing from the exterior wall. Without it, carbon monoxide produced by the furnace can enter the trailer's living space.

Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless gas that can cause serious injury or death from poisoning. Owners should be especially alert to symptoms such as headache, dizziness, nausea, or confusion while the furnace is running.

Authorized Jayco dealers will inspect the furnace and install a furnace exhaust vent where needed, free of charge. Owners were notified by mail on September 18, 2025.
