What this recall means for you
Some front headlights on these vehicles may be missing their aim markings. Without them, the headlights can be aimed incorrectly. That can reduce the driver's view of the road or shine glare into the eyes of oncoming drivers, which raises the risk of a crash. The vehicles also do not meet the federal lighting standard, FMVSS 108.
Dealers will inspect the headlights and replace them if needed, and the repair is free. Owner notification letters were mailed October 3, 2025. If you have questions, you can contact Mercedes-Benz USA customer service at 1-800-367-6372.
You can check whether your vehicle has any open recalls by entering your VIN on the NHTSA recall lookup site or at an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer, and schedule the free headlight inspection as soon as possible.
