Rosenbauer Avenger Recall 25V475: Frozen Odometer Could Delay Critical Safety Maintenance

NHTSA campaign 25V475, reported July 21, 2025, 788 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A software error in the instrument panel may cause the odometer to freeze and stop displaying accurate mileage on certain fire trucks. Because the odometer reading is inaccurate, required safety-related maintenance may be unintentionally postponed, which could impair safe operation of the vehicle and increase the risk of a crash.

The remedy is free. Authorized dealers will replace the instrument panel at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 10, 2025. If you own an affected vehicle, contact Rosenbauer customer service at 1-651-462-1000 to arrange the repair, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
