- Problem
- Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Chrysler Pacifica vehicles. The vehicles were built with an incorrect radio, which can cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
- Risk
- A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers replaced the radio, free of charge. All affected vehicles have been repaired. Owner notification letters were mailed August 7, 2025. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 57C.
What this recall means for you
Certain 2024 and 2025 Chrysler Pacifica minivans were built with an incorrect radio. In these vehicles, the rearview camera image may fail to appear on the screen, which fails to meet federal rear visibility requirements.
Without a working camera image, the driver has less view of what is behind the vehicle, which increases the risk of a crash, particularly when backing up. Owners should be aware of this limitation and take extra care when reversing.
According to the recall notice, dealers replaced the radio at no cost to owners, and all affected vehicles have been repaired. Owner notification letters were mailed August 7, 2025. If you have questions, contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403 (Chrysler recall number 57C), and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
