- Problem
- Zero Motorcycles Inc. (Zero) is recalling certain 2024 DSR/X, DS, DSR, and DSRP motorcycles. The front brake hose may be twisted and become damaged, which can cause a brake fluid leak and a loss of brake pressure.
- Risk
- A loss of brake pressure will reduce braking ability, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will inspect and replace the hose as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were be mailed July 28, 2025. Owners may contact Zero customer service at 1-888-841-8085. Zero's number for this recall is SV-RCL-025-017.

Zero Motorcycles is recalling certain 2024 Zero DS, DSR, DSR/X, and DSRP motorcycles because the front brake hose may become twisted and damaged. This can cause a brake fluid leak and a loss of brake pressure.
Loss of brake pressure reduces your ability to stop, which increases the risk of a crash. If you own an affected motorcycle, contact Zero customer service at 1-888-841-8085 and reference recall number SV-RCL-025-017. Owner notification letters were mailed July 28, 2025.
An authorized Zero dealer will inspect the front brake hose and replace it if necessary, at no cost to you. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls to confirm whether your motorcycle is affected.
