What this recall means for you

Water may get into the electrical connectors that link the engine bay to the front bumper cable harnesses on certain 2025 Polestar 3 vehicles. Damage to these harnesses can cause various electrical malfunctions, including a loss of power steering assist.

Losing power steering assist makes the vehicle harder to steer, which increases the risk of a crash or injury. If you own a 2025 Polestar 3, check whether your vehicle is covered by this recall and watch for any changes in steering feel.

Polestar will replace the bumper harness and the inline front bumper/engine bay connector on the engine bay harness free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 31, 2025.
